I am a classically trained pastry chef with a passion for cakes. I come from a fine dinning background and was head pastry chef of a Michelin star restaurant, however my love has always been with baking and cake decorating. I grew up watching my mum bake and have been making and decorating cakes ever since I can remember.
After working in hotels and bakeries and making cakes for friends and family, I decided to branch out on my own and so, Libby’s Bespoke Cakes was born.
Coming from a fine dining background I am passionate about only using high quality ingredients. I aim to use only free-range eggs from happy hens and organic flours. I believe that even though cakes are an indulgent treat, it should be as healthy, nutritious and good for you as it can be. I personally believe that organic ingredients give you a tastier overall finished product. Treat yourself and your body.
